Tie Domi loves to be physical but doesn't think all of his teammates should be taking the body.

"We don't want guys like Mats (Sundin) and Alex (Mogilny) and those types to think they have to run guys," Domi said.

"We want them to think of putting the puck in the net. It's a situation where hitting is part of my game. But we don't want to go out of the way to do it."

 KLEE TAKES HIS SHOTS

Whether Ken Klee can let slapshots rip from the blue line won't have a huge bearing on his decision to return to the lineup from a shoulder injury.

"It's not a case of shooting pucks," Klee said. "It is a matter of handling a bouncing puck in a weird position and then you have to shoot. It's not like in practice where you get the puck in a comfortable position and tee it up."

 HOME WOES

The Maple Leafs have had a very average record at the Air Canada Centre in the new year and must now make it work in their favour at playoff time.

Coach Pat Quinn lamented that clubs such as Ottawa seem to thrive in the so-called centre of the hockey universe, especially in playoffs.

"Visiting teams will go to other arenas and not get excited, which leads to some pretty sour games," Quinn said. "We don't get many sour games against us."
