Sidney Crosby inches closer to a European move
'It's a lot more possible right now'

Sid the Kid is casting an eye overseas.

The Penguins superstar has spent most of his time skating with locked-out players in a Pittsburgh suburb but Sidney Crosby told the Post-Gazette Tuesday he's strongly considering heading to Europe soon.

Though Crosby, who missed a large part of last because of a concussion, has held off on going overseas despite big interest from Russia, but he could take the plunge in the near future because he wants to get back on the ice.

"You know what? It's a lot more possible right now," Crosby told the Post-Gazette. "I probably hadn't thought about it quite as much as I have the past few days.
