Sidney Crosby will resume working out at his home in Cole Harbour, N.S.

After meeting with Dr. Michael Collins, a specialist in Pittsburgh who has been monitoring Crosby since he suffered a concussion in January, the Penguins star was cleared to start his off-season training program.

"I met with Sid Wednesday before he left for home and talked to Dr. Collins," Penguins general manager Ray Shero said. "Everything will be closely managed by Dr. Collins in terms of his progression leading up to him getting on the ice later in the summer per his usual routine."

Crosby won't start on-ice training until late July or early August, his normal routine.

The Vancouver Canucks should replace ex-coach Alain Vigneault with...
  Guy Boucher.
  Lindy Ruff.
  Andy Murray.
  Jacques Martin.
  Brent Sutter.
  Don Hay.
  Other.
