Penguins sign Philip Samuelsson
By Sports Network

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Penguins announced on Tuesday that they have signed defenseman Philip Samuelsson to a three-year, entry- level contract.

Samuelsson was Pittsburgh's second-round pick (61st overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.

The 6-foot-3, 198-pound rearguard played the last two years for Boston College and captured a national title with the Eagles as a freshman in 2009-10. He compiled five goals and 30 points in 81 games with the university.

Samuelsson is the son of former NHLer Ulf Samuelsson. The elder Samuelsson, who also was a blueliner, won Stanley Cups with Pittsburgh in 1991 and '92.

Would Seattle be a good city for the NHL to relocate to?
Yes, it'd be a great market.
  Maybe, who knows.
No, they should go to Quebec instead.
