PITTSBURGH - The Pittsburgh Penguins placed forward Dustin Jeffrey on injured reserve Friday, and recalled forward Eric Tangradi to fill the roster spot.
Jeffrey is on the shelf with an unknown injury. He has accumulated four goals and seven points in 13 games for the injury-plagued Pens this season.
Tangradi, who had been with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL, posted a goal and one assist in 13 games this year with Pittsburgh.
