Welcome to the NHL, Tye McGinn.

The Philadelphia Flyers rookie forward took a beating when he fought former Maple Leafs enforcer Mike Brown during the first period of their Feb. 25 tilt at the Wells Fargo Center.

Brown, who was traded from the Maple Leafs to the Edmonton Oilers Monday, broke McGinn's orbital bone in what turned into a one-sided beat down. McGinn, 22, had surgery over the weekend and will be out of the Flyers lineup for another four weeks, according to CSNPhilly.com.

The fight, which happened right off a first-period faceoff, was no dance. Brown connected with one good right towards the end of the scrap, planting McGinn into the ice. Linesmen separated the two and McGinn immediately headed to the dressing room.

The result of the fight was clear to see in a picture, which shows bruising in McGinn's left eye and a cut above his right eye, posted to Facebook Monday.

McGinn has three goals and two assists in 16 regular season games in his second season.
