PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia Flyers defenseman and team captain Chris Pronger will return for Wednesday's game against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Pronger has been out since October 24 when he suffered a right-eye injury against Toronto after getting hit with a high stick.

With the puck at the low left circle in the Flyers end, Pronger attempted to get to the puck, but Toronto's Mikhail Grabovski got there first and took a swipe at the disc. Grabovski's follow through went up and hit Pronger in the face.

Pronger has one goal and six assists in eight games played this season.
