When Erik Karlsson talks about not yet being all the way back from his Achillies injury, he must be referring to being all the way back in his own zone.

Sometimes, it seems, he's not really there at all.

The Senators could have easily been down 3-0 before they trailed the Islanders 1-0 Wednesday night, and Karlsson's fingerprints would have been on each of the goals against.

There was no excuse for the first great chance he gave the Islanders. He took a risky swipe at the puck, trying to keep it in the New York end with the Senators on an early power play, and when he missed, Cal Clutterbuck had a 100 foot breakaway.
