TAMPA, FLA. - Remember when Robin Lehner used to have problems in the shootouts?

There was no evidence of them Monday at Tampa Bay Times Forum.

Lehner stopped Valterri Filppula, Nikita Kucherov and Steve Stamkos, and Jason Spezza scored the only goal Ottawa would need to snap a six-game losing streak, defeating the Tampa Bay Lightning 4-3 in the tie-breaking skills contest.

The Senators blew a 3-1 second-period lead by giving up a pair of power play goals, one in the second and one in the third, but they showed the resolve to bounce back for their first victory since March 8.

The Senators are now 4-6 in shootouts this season.
