BANFF, ALTA. - It wasn't the way Ales Hemsky would have scripted his new beginning.
Acquired by the Ottawa Senators only hours before they dropped a 4-1 decision to the Calgary Flames Wednesday at the Saddledome, Hemsky must be wondering if his playoff chances have improved.
Getting his first up close and personal look at the Senators after being dealt from the Oilers before the deadline and then making the three-hour drive for the game, it wasn't pretty.
"I didn't like the result. We didn't play that well. We just didn't earn the two points," said Hemsky. "They play their style, they worked hard and they blocked a lot of shots.
