PITTSBURGH - The Senators managed to sneak out of the Consol Energy Center with a point Monday night.

But their bid for two came to an end on a defensive zone turnover by captain Jason Spezza in overtime.

Seconds after Spezza lost the puck along the boards, Penguins winger James Neal scored at 1:55 of overtime to hand the Senators a 2-1 loss.

Craig Anderson was brilliant in the Senators net, stopping 46 shots. And Marc-Andre Fleury made 24 saves for the Penguins.

Stephane Da Costa and Brian Gibbons traded first period goals that stood through 60 minutes.
