COLUMBUS - During this most critical stretch of the schedule, the Senators are being pulled up front by a pair of players who were supposed to be providing the "secondary" scoring.

The two forwards expected to lead the way have run cold.

Bobby Ryan has one goal in his last 11 games and just six in his last 27, a drastic drop from the 13 goals he scored in the first 25 games of the season.

Jason Spezza, the Senators' leading point collector for most of the past decade, has just three goals in his last 25 games.
