RALEIGH, N.C. - The Senators are the definition of the very difference between night and day.

It was another dog-day afternoon for the Senators as the club's record fell to 1-5-2 in day games with a disgraceful 6-3 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes Saturday.

While Kyle Turris and Clarke MacArhtur had two point efforts and Mika Zibanajad also scored, Anton Khudobin upped his lifetime record against the Senators to 4-0-0 while the Hurricanes moved their record to 11-0-1 against Ottawa at PNC Arena.

"We're struggling to find an answer in afternoon games," said Turris. "Trust me, we're talking about everything. Everybody getting on the bike, warmups before warmups, changing things in our warmups by skating more.

"We've changed everything down to the music. We just haven't found it yet."
