NASHVILLE - Across the street from a stretch of bars featuring some outstanding country and music performers, Craig Anderson left the Nashville Predators with the achy breaky hearts Saturday night.

He then followed with a post-game summation that could somehow be twisted into the title of a new song.

“The sun shines on a horse’s patoot every once in a while,” said Anderson, when asked about the hot hand he literally held the in Ottawa’s 2-1 shootout victory at Bridgestone Arena.

While goals by Mika Zibanejad and Jason Spezza gave the Senators the extra point, Anderson made at least three great glove saves on the night.
