OTTAWA - The Senators took the train back from Montreal in the wee hours of Sunday morning but they were flying high.

As the Senators opened up this four-game road trip -- that continues Wednesday in Denver -- the club's psyche got another boost with a 4-3 OT victory over the arch-rival Montreal Canadiens at the Bell Centre.

Not only was it the club's fourth straight win, it pulled the Senators to within two points of the struggling Toronto Maple Leafs for the final wildcard playoff spot in the East.
