OTTAWA - Booed mercilessly every time he touched the puck, Dany Heatley added insult to injury Wednesday night.

Heatley, the player the fans despise the most, returned to the city he couldn't stand and helped to deliver the knockout punch with a two-point effort to help give the Minnesota Wild a stunning 4-3 victory over the Senators.

While Milan Michalek, Kyle Turris and Mika Zibanejad beat Minny goalie Josh Harding on 37 shots, the club lost its third straight as Ottawa droped its first game to the Wild since March 16, 2004 in front of 16,642 at the Canadian Tire Centre.

Coming off a 5-2 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers Tuesday, Mikko Koivu scored the winner at 17:03 of the third. Jason Pominville and Jonas Brodin as goaltender Craig Anderson gave up four goals on 25 shots.
