OTTAWA - With the NHLís No. 1 star sitting on the bench, it was the rest of the Senators who got their butts kicked Tuesday night.

While the debate will rage as to whether Robin Lehner should have started ahead of Craig Anderson, even the clubís backup would have had difficulty saving the Senators in this embarrassing 5-0 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers.

Making his return to the net from a neck injury that kept him out a week, Anderson learned pretty quickly he couldnít do it all by himself and he didnít get any support as the Senators saw their three-game winning streak come to a halt.

The Senators made Flyersí goalie Steve Mason look like an all-star on 24 stops for his 20th career shutout. Jakub Voracek, Vinny Lecavalier and Claude Giroux had two-point efforts while Brayden Schenn and Matt Read also chipped in.
