BOSTON - It was a glorious night for the Senators in Beantown and now it's off to meet Les Glorieux.

Jean-Gabriel Pageau was the hometown hero and booked a ticket to the dance with the Montreal Canadiens in Round 1 of the playoffs when he scored the winner with 3:34 left in the third in the Senators' 4-2 victory over the Boston Bruins.

Pageau, a Gatineau native, scored his second in nine games since being called up from the minors to move Ottawa into the No. 7 seed in the East Division. As a result, they'll meet the Habs in the post-season for the first time in modern franchise history.

His goal came after the Bruins had erased a 2-0 deficit. All the goals came from unlikely sources as Jared Cowen and Erik Condra scored, while Kyle Turris put it in an empty net.
