OTTAWA - The Senators will need to make a point to avoid another march with the Penguins this spring.

After falling into the No. 8 seed as a result of a victory by the New York Rangers earlier in the day, the Senators weren't able to dig themselves out with a 2-1 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers Saturday in front of 20,232 at Scotiabank Place.

The result means the Senators can finish no higher than No. 7 in the East heading into their final game Sunday vs. the Boston Bruins at the TD Garden.
