WASHINGTON - Win and you're in.

That's the only roadblock left for the Senators with three games remaining in the regular season starting with Thursday's tilt against the Washington Capitals at Verizon Center.

If the Senators get two points vs. the Caps, the Philadelphia Flyers Saturday or the Boston Bruins Sunday, it won't matter what the Winnipeg Jets do Thursday against the visiting Montreal Canadiens because Ottawa will ensure itself a playoff spot.

The players would like to get the chase over with.

"It's do or die for us. Just to get another win here and get our spot in the playoffs. That's our main goal," said defenceman Marc Methot Wednesday.
