TAMPA, Fla. — The Senators could still rue the day they traded Ben Bishop this season if, by some chance, they end up missing the playoffs, or home-ice advantage in the playoffs, by a point.

When they sent that tall drink of water to this warm, sunny spot, they dealt away the NHL's best shootout goalie. Bishop entered Tuesday's game with a perfect 4-0 mark and a sizzling .862 save percentage in the game-settling skills contest. The fraternity brothers he left behind in Ottawa -- Robin Lehner and Craig Anderson -- were 0-3 and 0-1, respectively, in shootouts this season.

As tight as the standings are, the Senators weren't worried about the trade coming back to haunt them in that respect because they know things can change in a hurry.
