TAMPA, FLA. - Cory Conacher will feel right at home in this road game.

Acquired from the Lightning (along with a fourth-round pick) for goalie Ben Bishop at Wednesday’s trade deadline, the new Senators winger chatted with former teammates Steven Stamkos and Teddy Purcell — along with some staff and reporters — before Monday’s practice at the Tampa Bay Times Forum.

“It’s obviously a little weird, but it’s going to be exciting to play against them (Tuesday),” said Conacher, who scored Ottawa’s lone goal in a 2-1 loss to Florida on Sunday. “Hopefully, we can get on the better end of the stick at the end of the night.”
