OTTAWA - After missing 18 games with a sprained ankle, Craig Anderson now has "no hesitation in jumping over the boards and going in" to the Senators crease.

"If they need me to play, there really (are) no limitations right now for why I couldn't," the NHL's leader in save percentage and goals-against average said after another problem-free practice -- this one at Harvard University just before the team left Boston -- early Thursday afternoon.

Whether he taps Anderson or Robin Lehner, coach Paul MacLean will at least have the option of using his No. 1 stopper for the first time since Feb. 21 when the Senators visit the Buffalo Sabres at First Niagara Center Friday.

"He's fully prepared to back up or to play if we need him to," said MacLean. "We just have to make a decision if he's had enough practice time."

The decision, quite likely, will be that he has.
