West gains playoff advantage in new-look NHL
By BRUCE GARRIOCH, QMI Agency

Ottawa Senators defenceman Chris Phillips (ERROL MCGIHON/THE OTTAWA SUN/QMI AGENCY).

NEW YORK -- Daniel Alfredsson and Chris Phillips aren't thrilled with the NHL's new look.

That's because realignment calls for 16 teams in the East and 14 in the West.
