Sens win devil of a game in New Jersey
Pull off 2-1 shootout victory

NEWARK, N.J. — Many were starting to wonder if hell may freeze over before the Senators would score again, let alone secure a victory.

They picked a devil of a time to do both.

Rookie Jakob Silfverberg went top shelf in the shootout on legend Martin Brodeur and captain Daniel Alfredsson led the club to a third period comeback in a 2-1 victory over the New Jersey Devils Monday afternoon at the Prudential Center.
