NEWARK, N.J. -- The Senators kept it short and sweet Sunday.

Forty-three minutes into their skate at the Prudential Center, coach Paul MacLean blew his whistle and pretty much everybody left the ice after working on trying to find ways to get this season back on track.

Whether the Senators will find their touch around the net against the one of the NHL's stingiest teams Monday in a President's Day game against the New Jersey Devils is a big question, but it won't be for lack of trying.
