Ottawa Senators goalie Craig Anderson shuts out Buffalo Sabres

Sens Anderson save Feb 13, 2013

Somebody needs to name a beer after Craig Anderson.

Somehow "Anderson Time" just doesn't sound roll of the tongue as easy as "Miller Time."

In a battle of two of the NHL's top American goalies, the one in Canadian colours was the toast of the town with 42 stops in the Senators' 2-0 victory over Ryan Miller and the Buffalo Sabres Tuesday night in front of 18,429 at Scotiabank Place.

The unflappable Anderson recorded his second shutout of the season, 21st of his career and moved his record to a 7-2-2 as the Senators halted their two-game losing streak on the strength of goals from Erik Condra and Erik Karlsson.

The win allowed the Senators to close out this important four-game homestand with five of eight points. Anderson had to be at his best in the third period with the Senators clinging to the lead and the Sabres pushing hard.

Would Seattle be a good city for the NHL to relocate to?
Yes, it'd be a great market.
  Maybe, who knows.
No, they should go to Quebec instead.
