Ottawa Senators send goalie Robin Lehner to AHL's Binghamton Senators
By DON BRENNAN, QMI Agency

Senators goalie Robin Lehner. (ERROL MCGIHON/THE OTTAWA SUN/QMI AGENCY).

The best goalie prospect in hockey was returned to the Binghamton Senators Tuesday because Ottawa currently has the best goalie in the NHL.

"I didn't expect it," a naturally disappointed Robin Lehner said while driving back to Bingo after his demotion. "(Staying in Ottawa) is what I want, but it was three goalies there, and you can't be three goalies. It can't happen. So we'll go from here and see what happens."

After posting an incredible .945 save percentage in 20 AHL games this season, Lehner earned himself a callup with Ben Bishop when the lockout ended and camp began last week. Instead of making an earlier decisions, the Senators wanted to see how starter Craig Anderson would respond to nine months of inactivity.

The Vancouver Canucks should replace ex-coach Alain Vigneault with...
  Guy Boucher.
  Lindy Ruff.
  Andy Murray.
  Jacques Martin.
  Brent Sutter.
  Don Hay.
  Other.
