Craig Anderson still Senators' No. 1 goalie

TORONTO - Craig Anderson hasn’t lost his status as the Senators No. 1 goalie, but it comes with no guarantees.

Coach Paul MacLean didn’t do anything to throw cold water on the hot debate of who’ll make the start against the Winnipeg Jets in the season opener Saturday when he wouldn’t confirm Anderson will be in the net.

While MacLean insisted neither Ben Bishop nor Robin Lehner has moved ahead of Anderson on the depth chart as the club closed out Day 2 of training camp Monday, neither has been ruled out to make the start against the Jets.

Are you surprised Don Cherry backed Daniel Alfredsson's comments?
  Yes.
  No.
It's Don Cherry - who knows what he will say.
  Not sure.
