Fans aren't the only ones anticipating the battle for supremacy in the Senators' net in training camp.

Coach Paul MacLean told the Sun he can't wait either.

When the players do take the ice for their first training camp skate Sunday at 1 p.m., all eyes will be on the battle for the No. 1 job between Craig Anderson, Ben Bishop and Robin Lehner -- heading into the club's opener next week in Winnipeg.

"I really believe that goaltending is a real strength of our team and I don't think we could say that last year," MacLean said Saturday. "I don't think I've been on a team where I've been able to say that with as much confidence as we feel.
