Ottawa Senators defenceman Erik Karlsson returns with same, winning attitude
By DON BRENNAN, QMI Agency

Senators defenceman Erik Karlsson

Since his last game with the Senators, Erik Karlsson has turned 22, got married, won the Norris Trophy and signed a mega-million dollar contract. But, thankfully, it seems he really hasn't changed as a person.

He still dares to be different, witness his wardrobe at Scotiabank Place Friday. Along with a brown Boston Red Sox cap, Karlsson wore a pink Barbra Streisand T-shirt.

The 70-year-old, New York-born star of stage and screen is big among young Swedish hockey players is she?

"I picked it up in Berlin, when I was there during the national team break with (former Senator) Jarkko Ruutu and his wife ... I saw it and I kind of liked it," Karlsson shrugged. "I heard she was pretty good, and people still talk about her."

Are you surprised Don Cherry backed Daniel Alfredsson's comments?
  Yes.
  No.
It's Don Cherry - who knows what he will say.
  Not sure.
