Senators heading back to Scotiabank Place
By BRUCE GARRIOCH, QMI Agency

Senators players can return to Ottawa's Scotiabank Place on Wednesday to begin preparing for the opening of training camp Saturday. (QMI Agency/Files)

OTTAWA - The doors are being unlocked to Scotiabank Place.

The players have been renting ice and using the facilities at the Bell Sensplex since the lockout started on Sept. 15, but they can return to the building Wednesday to begin preparing for the opening of training camp Saturday.

Though the collective bargaining agreement hasn't been ratified by either the NHL or the NHL Players' Association, teams have been instructed by the league they can let players use team facilities if they so choose.
