OTTAWA - Just a couple of months ago the most cynical among us might have wondered which would come first, the end of the NHL lockout or the end of the world.
On Thursday, everyone who cared to choose had to be betting on the latter.
And so it is from all the usual blathering about a dispute that could kill a league (hey, if owners and players can’t reach an agreement on a new CBA now, with so much on the line, what makes you think they ever will?) that we take you to lighter (darker?) discussions we had with Senators after their most recent skate at Carleton University.
