Sens' Alfie back for Game 6?

NEW YORK - NEW YORK — Don’t rule out Daniel Alfredsson for Game 6.
The Senators captain, who had been working out in the gym, skated Saturday in Ottawa and if he’s on the ice for practice Sunday, there’s a strong chance he could play Monday night against the New York Rangers.
Alfredsson, who missed his third straight game with a concussion he suffered last Saturday after getting hit by New York’s Carl Hagelin in Game 2, could return if he remains symptom free for the next 24 hours.
“He’s made progress,” offered coach Paul MacLean after Saturday’s pre-game skate.
The Senators want Alfredsson back.
“We’ve tried to minimize the impact of him being gone,” said centre Jason Spezza. “We’re a much better team with him in the lineup. We would like to have him back. He’s a pretty big contributor for us. He really calms things down.”
