EDMONTON - Craig Anderson is staying put.

The Senators goaltender, coming off two straight victories including a 38-save performance in Calgary, will return to the net Thursday night against the Edmonton Oilers at Rexall Place as the club’s five-game road trip cotinues.

Coach Paul MacLean isn’t going be making any changes against the Oilers which means defenceman David Rundblad will continue to be a healthy scratch.

Anderson is 6-3-1 lifetime vs. the Oilers.

“You’ve got to come in and be ready to go,” said Anderson. “My job is to give the team a chance to win, no matter what team we’re facing. It doesn’t matter what sweater the other team is wearing.”

Anderson will be up against Edmonton’s Nikolai Khabibulin. He wasn’t expected to make the start after giving up eight goals in the club’s last two games, but the Oilers need a victory and he’s been one of the league’s best this season.

Game time is 9:30 p.m. EST.

Do you think the officiating has been fair in the Kings-Sharks series?
  Yes
  No
No ... but the refs seem to be evening it out themselves
