NEW YORK - Robin Lehner will be on the bench Saturday at Madison Square Garden.

The Senators confirmed Saturday morning they have recalled the 20-year-old goaltender to sit behind Craig Anderson as the team faces the New York Rangers and tries to extend the club’s winning streak to five straight games.

Backup Alex Auld, who was seen talking to coach Paul MacLean after the club’s workout Friday at the Bell Sensplex, is out with an undisclosed injury. MacLean won’t meet with the media until just two hours before game time Saturday.

Lehner has a 4-2-0 record with the club’s AHL affiliate in Binghamton this season. He joined the team last night after suiting up in Binghamton.
