Will face Flyers' Bobrovsky

OTTAWA - It'll be the Battle of the Backups Tuesday night at Scotiabank Place.

Coach Peter Laviolette has opted to give Ilya Bryzgalov the night off and backup Sergei Bobrovsky will make the start for the Philadelphia Flyers as the Senators open a three-game homestand with Alex Auld in the net.

The Senators are ready for the challenge.

Coming off a 2-1 loss to the Washington Capitals Saturday, goalie Craig Anderson was on the ice for Tuesday’s morning skate, but coach Paul MacLean has opted to stick with Auld between the pipes.

“They’re a huge challenge for us. They’ve got some dynamic guys with good special teams,” said centre Jason Spezza. “They’re a team that’s playing well. We’ve got to make sure that we play a strong game.”

Bobrovksky is 2-1-0 lifetime with 2.35 goals-against average and a .923 save-percentage.

Defenceman Sergei Gonchar, who has a bruised right ankle after taking a shot in Washington, skated in the morning but isn’t ready to play.

Would Seattle be a good city for the NHL to relocate to?
Yes, it'd be a great market.
  Maybe, who knows.
No, they should go to Quebec instead.
