WASHINGTON - Brian Lee is once again the odd man out for the Senators.

The 24-year-old defenceman will be a healthy scratch for the second time this season when Ottawa plays the Washington Capitals Saturday at Verizon Center.

Lee, a former first rounder, was relegated to the press box 32 times last season by former coach Cory Clouston. He had a good camp but still hasnt been able to secure an everyday role with the team.

Bobby Butler will also miss the game with a groin injury, as Zenon Konopka and Erik Condra draw back into the lineup.

We feel on the road that Zenon gives us leadership and a faceoff circle presence that is important on the road, said coach Paul MacLean.

Alex Auld will be making his first start in goal for the Senators.
