Sens' Anderson gets another shot at Leafs
By BRUCE GARRIOCH, QMI Agency

Craig Anderson will get another shot at the Maple Leafs.

After making 47 saves in his debut against the Leafs on Feb. 19th at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Anderson returns to the Ottawa net for the club’s final Saturday night game of the season at Scotiabank Place.

The Senators can’t eliminate the Leafs from the playoffs, but they can put another nail in Toronto’s coffin with a victory. Ottawa is coming off a 5-2 victory over the Florida Panthers Thursday.

Coach Cory Clouston claimed the Senators don’t have revenge on their minds vs. the Leafs. He might be the only one in Ottawa buying into that line of thinking.

“That’s not even in our focus. We’ve just got to make sure that we’re playing hard, playing smart and we’re not worried about knocking guys out or being the spoiler,” said Clouston.

Rookie Stephane Da Costa, signed as a unrestricted free agent on Thursday,

will skate in the middle of Ryan Shannon and Erik Condra.

“They should be a really good combination,” said Clouston.

The Senators have recalled defenceman Andre Benoit to suit up for the injured Erik Karlsson.
