Sens skip practice, wait for Sabres

BUFFALO — The Senators decided to take a day of rest.

After arriving in the Queen City in the wee hours of Saturday morning, coach Cory Clouston cancelled practice and held a off-ice workout at the HSBC Arena.

"We've had a lot of work in a short period of time and a lot of travel," said Clouston Saturday.

The Senators have won a season-high four straight on the road and have won three on this trip — including a 2-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning Friday. They can complete a sweep with a victory over the Sabres in the 4 p.m. start.

While Curtis McElhinney was solid with 34 stops vs. the Bolts, he likely won't get the start against the Sabres. The Senators are expected to go back to Craig Anderson.

Would Seattle be a good city for the NHL to relocate to?
Yes, it'd be a great market.
  Maybe, who knows.
No, they should go to Quebec instead.
