Daniel Alfredsson is going to be a Daddy ... again.

The Senators captain, a father of three boys, confirmed after practice Sunday at the Bell Sensplex that there’ll be a new addition to the family. His wife Bibbi is expecting the couple’s fourth child in May.

“We’re obviously excited about it. It’s probably the last one,” said Alfredsson with a laugh. “We’re really looking forward to it. We’re keeping it a surprise. We don’t know what it’s going to be as well. We’ve done that with the other three. We didn’t find out.”

Alfredsson said they’re not worried if Hugo, Loui and Fenix don’t get a sister. They just wanted to have one more child.

“When talked about before trying we just wanted another baby,” said Alfredsson. “Four kids. It would be great to have a girl, but it would be really fun to have four boys as well.”

Alfredsson didn’t practice Sunday. Neither did winger Jarrko Ruutu, who has a lower body injury. He’s not scheduled to play for a week, but the club will bring back winger Bobby Butler from Binghamton.

Winger Chris Neil, who took a high stick near the eye Friday, is fine.
