WASHINGTON -- Robin Lehner is staying in Binghamton for the time being.

The Senators have recalled goalie Mike Brodeur to dress as the backup to Brian Elliott Sunday against the Washington Capitals at the Verizon Center.

Ideally, the Senators want Lehner playing and they don't want him sitting on the bench in Ottawa. He suited up Saturday in Binghamton against the Manchester Monarchs.

Puck drop is 3 p.m.

After benching Brad Richards should the New York Rangers eventually just buy him out?
  Yes.
  Might be a good idea.
  No.
  Not sure.
