Robin Lehner is being shuttled back and forth to Binghamton.

The Senators goaltender was sent back to the clubs AHL affiliate Saturday to face the Manchester Monarchs. Lehner is expected to rejoin Ottawa in time to dress as the backup Sunday in Washington at 3 p.m.

That means Brian Elliott, who has lost seven straight and hasnt won since Dec. 26th, will likely get the start against the Capitals. The Senators are coming off a 3-2 loss to the Calgary Flames Friday at home.

Robin is going to play (in Binghamton) and were looking at getting him in a game (here) soon, said Senators coach Cory Clouston. He needs to develop. Hes only played 10 games down there all year. He hasnt had a real full season. Its about getting in games.

Defenceman Chris Campoli, a healthy scratch the last two games, is expected to return to the lineup.
