The Senators are going to get a look at the kids this weekend.
With 22 rookies set to hit the ice Friday at the Bell Sensplex to prepare for a four-team tournament at the John Labatt Centre in London, Ont., the Senators announced Wednesday 12 draft picks will suit up.
While goalie Robin Lehner along with defencemen Jared Cowen and Patrick Wiercioch lead the list, former 67ís winger Corey Cowick will get a shot to show what he can do at the pro level.
The Senators will face the Blackhawks Saturday at 2 p.m., the Penguins Sunday at 2 p.m. and close out the tournament Tuesday against the Maple Leafs.
The clubís practice Friday at 8:30 a.m. is open to the public.
