TONIGHT

7:30 P.M., NET-E/RDS, TEAM 1200

PHILADELPHIA FLYERS (37-30-5) VS. OTTAWA SENATORS (38-30-5)

ICE CHIPS

The Flyers learned Monday they will be without leading scorer C Jeff Carter for next 3-4 weeks. Carter suffered a non-displaced fracture of his left foot while blocking a shot Sunday. The injury costs him his 286-game ironman streak, third longest in team history ... For the Senators, it's the second of back-to-back games with teams they're in a battle with for a playoff spot and seeding. Ottawa is 7-2 in the second of back-to-back games this season, having outscored teams 27-21 ... The Senators are 2-1 vs. the Flyers this season. They won 7-4 in Ottawa Jan. 3 and 2-0 in Philadelphia Dec. 10. They lost 5-1 in Philly Nov. 12.

THIS AND THAT

The Flyers are coming off two weekend losses to the Atlanta Thrashers ... Philly's power play is 0-for-7 in its last three games ... As of Monday, less than 1,250 tickets remained unsold.

INJURY REPORT

SENATORS: LW Milan Michalek (left leg), out; D Filip Kuba (lower body), questionable.

FLYERS: Carter (broken foot), out; G Ray Emery (bone graft), season; G Michael Leighton (ankle sprain), out.
