OTTAWA SENATORS (37-28-5) AT ATLANTA THRASHERS (29-29-11)

7P.M., NET-E/RDS, TEAM 1200

THIS AND THAT

The Senators, who have the 27th-ranked power play in the league, are 3-for-23 with the odd man in their last five games ... Ottawa's penalty killing is fifth in the NHL ... Daniel Alfredsson needs 24 points in the next 10 games to hit the 1,000 mark in both categories at the same time.

ICE CHIPS

It's easier to rhyme off who's scoring for the Senators rather than who's struggling. Milan Michalek (team-high 22 goals) is also tied with Matt Cullen as the team's top marksman since the break -- with two. Mike Fisher, Jason Spezza, Chris Neil, Chris Kelly and Andy Sutton each have one ... Ex-Senator Todd White was helped off the ice after crashing into the boards during the second period of Atlanta's win over Buffalo Tuesday, but finished the game. White, who earns $2.375 million US, has one more year on his contract with the Thrashers.

INJURY REPORT

SENATORS: C Mike Fisher (upper body), probable; D Filip Kuba (lower body), questionable.

THRASHERS: D Boris Valabik (torn ACL), season; D Christoph Schubert (hip), out; LW Evander Kane (broken foot), out.
