The Sens Foundation got a huge boost Tuesday night, with $606,183 raised during the seventh annual Roger's House Telethon.
This will enable the Sens Foundation to meet its ongoing commitment to the region's only paediatric respite and palliative care centre.
Donations were collected through phone and web pledges, text messages, in-game contributions and cheques from local organizations who hosted events.
Senators owner Eugene Melnyk matched all pledges made during the first intermission.
