Brian Elliott will be in net for the Senators when they host the New York Rangers Tuesday night.

With Pascal Leclaire recovering from a concussion, then trying to get his game in order, Elliott started the team's final 14 games before the break and won 12 of them.

Coach Cory Clouston has said he wants both his goalies "playing with confidence" by the time the playoffs roll around.

In naming Elliott his starter after Tuesday's morning skate, Clouston wouldn't say when he plans on giving Leclaire his next start.

"We just predict one game at a time, that's all I'm going to comment on," Clouston said. "Today, it's Brian."
