BOSTON -- Mike Brodeur's run as the Senators' starting goalie has been interrupted by a bug.

Brodeur, who was scheduled to make his third straight start this afternoon against the Boston Bruins, took ill this morning.

Brian Elliott will start in his place.

Filip Kuba returns to the Senators lineup after missing four games with a hand injury. Alex Picard is being shuttled to the press box to make room for him. Bruins C Patrice Bergeron is taking the pre-game warmup, after which a decision will be made on his participation. Bergeron has been out with a broken thumb.

Puck drop today is at 1 p.m. There is no Ottawa TV broadcast, but that game is available on Team 1200 radio.
