The Rangers are coming off a 1-0 shootout loss to the Devils on Tuesday that turned out to be a duel between Gs Henrik Lundqvist and Martin Brodeur. Lundqvist made 45 saves while Brodeur made 51 stops before the showdown.

Senators D Filip Kuba, who has been out with an upper-body injury he suffered last Saturday against the Florida Panthers, didn't take part in the activities in Central Park, but he could play tonight ... Senators RW Jonathan Cheechoo required some stitches after getting his face slammed into the glass by Atlanta D Christoph Schubert in the first period. "To me, (Cheechoo) showed a lot of grit," said coach Cory Clouston ... The Senators recalled F Kaspars Daugavins and re-assigned F Martin St. Pierre to the club's AHL affiliate in Binghamton. Daugavins, who has 11 goals and 10 assists in 37 games with the Baby Sens this season, will play for Latvia at the Vancouver Olympics.
